Crisis Insight Ahead Of Lofa By-election, Amid NEC Reported Stance Against Unity Party

Crisis seems to hand over the scheduled holding of Lofa County Senatorial By-election scheduled for May 2022, as one of the political parties in the process is smelling foulplay.

According to sources closed to the National Elections Commission (NEC), the candidate of the Unity Party may be rejected on grounds that it did not meet the requirements of the Commission to be placed bon the ballot papers.

With this reported latest inform from the NEC, executives of the Unity Party have vowed to take issue with NEC if anything ‘Funny’ take place ahead of the By-election for Lofa County.

Some political observers who spoke to our reporter said the game is played to disallow UP participating in the Lofa County By-election for what the called political reasons.
