The Political Leader of the Liberty Party says Liberians are suffering due to the inability of the Coalition for Democratic Charge led government to deliver for the people.
Senator Nyonblee Kangar Lawrence told GNN in an exclusive interview on Friday, October 30, noted that Liberia will only make progress if the CDC-led government is swept out by the citizens through their votes, adding, “ If we want to see this country progressing, your need to vote out those bad senators and their government who are not working in your interest”.
She furthered ” We are only eight good senators at the Senate out of the 30 senators that want to see the country progressing but the rest including some of the representatives are the problems for this country “.
Madam Lawrence mentioned that Liberia will rise again if the CDC led government is voted out and the CPP government takes over.
“We want our citizens to prove to the CDC led government that you’re ready for a real change beginning this December 8, election “.
She furthered, “For this election, I am not worrying because I have already won because there is no major competitor and so we are now focusing on the 2023 elections “.
The LP Political Leader mentioned that women in politics are key, adding that she’s the only female political leader among 3 male Political Leaders.
“Come 2023, we want you to get ready to show to the CDC that Liberians deserve better and I am sure a female will serve as running mate to any of the three males.”
Though Senator Lawrence wasn’t clear as to who will be the female running mate in 2023 but critical thinkers have narrowed the argument saying Senator Lawrence is anticipating to serve as a Vice Presidential running mate on the CPP ticket in 2023.
