Cabinet discusses Aleppo economic and service situation

Damascus, SANA – The main topics discussed in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday were the outcome of the government delegation visit, headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, to Aleppo province.

The discussions stressed the importance of the visit in terms of following up the implementation of the development, economic and service plans, as well as the new projects started nearly a year ago in Aleppo.

All ministries and the parties concerned were asked to continue implementing the pre-set plans and conducting field visits to follow up on work progress.

The Cabinet’s meeting main discussion points were to continue all necessary procedures to complete the urban project of Aleppo, develop a comprehensive vision to support the factories in Aleppo, review investment status, set a comprehensive investment map tourism project in Aleppo and rehabilitate Sheraton Aleppo Hotel.

It also demanded the parties concerned to document all military events and the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army on the entire Syrian territory.
