As President Boakai Delivers His First SONA Today, Liberians Call For Establishment Of War And Economic Crimes Courts

Thousands of Liberians, and foreign residents in Monrovia and other parts of the country are anxiously awaiting to listen to the 26th President of Liberia, Joseph Nyuma Boakai as he delivers his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, January 29, 2024 before the Joint Session of the 55th Legislature at the Capitol Building.

A cross session of Liberians who spoke to the GNN, urged the Liberian leader to use today’s SONA to expound publicly on the establishment of both the war and economic crimes courts in order to bring to book those who will caught in the web.
