As Liberia Fortifies Border, Dozens Of Guinean Traders Reportedly Stranded In Ganta, Nimba County
Following the overthrow of Guinean President Alpha Conde on Monrovia, September 6, 2021 by Guinea Special Forces headed by Lieutenant-Colonel Mamady Doumbouy and the subsequent arrest of the President, the Liberia and other neighboring immediately closed their borders with the troubled country, Guinea.
