As Hundreds Turnout To Vote, 2 Men Arrested With 100 Voter’s Cards
As today, December 8, 2020 is the day for the much publicized midterm senatorial election and the by-election for two representatives of Montserrado County District # 9, Muna PelhamYoungblood and Sinoe County District #2 Jay Nagbe Sloh who lost their lives, information gathered revealed that two men were have been arrested for having their possession over three hundred voters’ registration cards.
According to our report, the two men were spotted distributing voters’ registration cards and some cash, a situation our reporter said drew the attention of some journalists and bystanders who raised an alarm that led to the arrest of the two men who were later taken to the headquarters of the Liberia National Police on Capitol Hill.
The spokesman of the Liberia National Police, Moses Carter speaking to journalists confirmed the arrest of the two individuals, but noted that investigation regarding the matter will be conducted and later speak on it.
