As Liberians continue to battle with hardship, while at the same time voicing out their frustration on the CDC-led government of President George Manneh Weah, key officials of this government at by the day are resigning their respective positions, with the latest being the Chairman of the National Bureau of Concession (NBC), Gregory Coleman.
Early this year the headquarters of the NBC was a place of renewed tension when two deputies of the bureau who are said to be die-hard members of the ruling party became hostile towards their boss, a situation that led to the arrest the two deputies; Daddy Gibson, Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA) and Nathaniel Bracewell, Deputy Director General for Concession (DDGC). This action on the part of these two deputies led to their suspension by the Liberian leader.
The resignation of Coleman brings to the number of two officials who have resigned their positions in less than two days. On Friday, November 22, 2019, the Deputy Managing Director at the Liberia Water and sewer Corporation (LWSC), Dan Sayeh resigned his post. The reason of his resignation is still unknown.
However, there is also report of the alleged resignation of the Minister of Justice, Cllr. Frank Musa Dean, but saying his resignation has been rejected by the Liberian leader, President George M. Weah.
