As Archie Ponpon Medical Problem Intensifies, VEx Hands Over US$1,000 To His Family
Student activist and head of the Voice from Exile (Vex), Martin K. N. Kollie has turned over US$1,000 (one Thousand United States Dollars) to the family of Leroy Archie Ponpon as his institution’s initial contribution towards his medical services at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital.
The both parents of Archie Ponpon, Mr. Andy K. Ponpon and Mrs. Agatha Jappah received the amount today from Vex team in Monrovia, according to the organization, the is the initial contribution to Archie’s medication.
“We are grateful to our supporters for making this possible,” a representative of VEx making the presentation of the cash said.
Expressing their gratitude to the team, the parents of Archie said, “We honor Archie’s heroism and self-sacrifice. May God heal and console him during these very difficult times. SHALOM.
