As AGOA Expo & Trade Fair Draws Closer, LCC Calling On Liberian Businesses

As Liberia gears up to join the rest of the world in the upcoming African Growth & Opportunity Act or (AGOA)  Expo & Trade Fair schedule to be held in New York, the United States on September 25th to the 30th, 2018,, the Liberia  Chamber of Commerce  is inviting local producers of Liberian made products to form part of this unique opportunity.

According to a press release from the Liberia Chamber of Commerce, the AGOA Expo is a Cultural and Business Platform committed to celebrate U.S – Africa Cooperation, Strengthen Bilateral Trade Relations, and to also promote AGOA Key Export Products and Investment opportunities through African growth and opportunity Act.

The presses release further quotes the President of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce, Mr. J. Wendell Addy as saying this move of calling on producers of large and small locally made products to make use of this opportunity by visiting the offices of the Chamber on Capitol Hill for further detail.

The leadership of the Chamber said its objective is to holistically promote Liberians products and businesses who have resolved to compete with other countries around the world in promoting their locally made products.

“The Chamber strongly encourages Liberian owned businesses to take advantage of this opportunity,” the release quoting Mr. Addy concluded.
