LIBERIA: American prelate impressed about Buchanan road

A visiting American Prelate Rev. Clifton Eaton says he is impressed with government the pavement done on the Buchanan road which indicate development is ongoing in the country.

Rev. Eaton who is a guest of the 48th National Convention of the Grace Gospel Baptist Church on the Old Road, Sinkor  made the assertions after he drove from Monrovia to Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County along the General Superintendent of Grace Gospel Baptist Church Pastor P. Lawrence Charlie on a missionary journey.

He disclosed that during previous visitations to Liberia especially Buchanan, it took him at least three hours to get there, but, instead, he drove on the Buchanan highway with ease.

He maintain that he was in Liberia to work with the Grace Gospel Baptist Church in developing and implementing projects such as school and church development that will meet the spiritual needs of Christians.

He urged Liberians to trust the word of God because it never lie, fail, disappoint, and forsake those who belief in it adding that each life is pressure so each Christian must get salvation to be safe.

He also admonishes Liberians to respect their leaders to invoke God’s blessings on the country saying that any country whose people cannot respect it leader are bound to fail as Jesus Christ Himself mandate mankind to respect authority.

Meanwhile, Grace Gospel Baptist Church General Superintendent Pastor P. Lawrence Charlie confirmed that the one-week church convention brought together over 400 delegates from across the country.

The convention ended on Sunday, December 12 with the delegates urge to go in peace and be their brother’s keeper in fulfilling the work of God on earth.
