The unsuccessful candidate in Liberia’s 2017 presidential election and leader of the opposition party Alternative National Congress (ANC), Alexander Cummings, recently renewed his contract with the American firm Cooke Robotham.
The former ‘Mr. Africa’ for Coca-Cola from 1998 to 2016 previously retained the services of the same firm in 2016 for an annual fee of $90,000. Based in Washington and specialising in international investment, Cooke Robotham has a particularly strong presence in Africa, where it has been operating since 1990.
African dossiers are handled within the firm by Thomas Laryea, who has worked on behalf of large American investment companies and African governments in Gabon, Nigeria, Niger, Benin and Congo-K.
