After The Intervention of Council of Churches and The Traditional Leaders, Rep. Yekeh Kolubah Agrees To Justice Ministry’s Invitation
Following the intervention by the Liberia Council of Churches (LCC) and the National Traditional Council of Liberia (NTCL) regarding the impasse between Montserrado County District number 10 Representative, Yekeh Kolubah and the Ministry of Justice on statement he (Rep Kolubah) publicly made that President George Weah ‘Masterminded’ the killing of Representative Adolph Lawrence who died in a car accident, an invitation was extended to him by the Justice Ministry for clarity but refused.
His refusal to appear before the Ministry gave rise to some ex-rebel generals who issued a statement ordering his arrest, this action by the ex-rebel generals received huge condemnation from the public, which compelled them (Ex-rebel generals) to issue a retraction of their statement against the lawmaker.
However, after the intervention of both the Council of Churches and the traditional leaders, the embattled lawmaker (Kolubah) has finally agreed to the Justice Ministry’s invitation to appeal today on grounds to state his reason on allegation made against the Liberian leader that he masterminded the killing of Adolph Lawrence.
