After His ‘Successful’ UN Address, President Weah To Receive Exciting Welcome On Sunday

Thousands of Liberians are about this time are making preparation to troop to the road leading to the nation’s international airport, the Roberts International Airport to receive their President, Dr. George Manneh Weah,  affectionately call the ‘Country Giant’  on tomorrow, Sunday, September 30, 2018 from New York, the United States after delivering his first speech at the United Nations General Assembly putting forward the plight of his people to that world body.

Already, partisans of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), government officials and workers as well as well-wishers and sympathizers are receiving their T-Shirts with the portrait of the President to join others in welcoming their leader and his beloved wife, Madam Clar Weah and delegation to Liberia.

“We will be in the number to receive our President at the RIA who has performed well at the UN to inform the world of our plight; he has brought shame to those detractors who felt that Mr. President would not have done his presentation well. We are happy, and will be at the airport to receive the President in flying colors ,” Nancy Jacobs, a petty trader speaking to the GNN today said.

“Our leader is coming back home tomorrow (Sunday, September 30, 2018) with pride and dignity for what he has amongst world leaders at the United Nations, I am indeed overwhelmed of the presentation of President Weah at the UN; my entire household will be at the airport to receive him and his delegation from the United States,” Nathaniel Gabriel of Monrovia in a cheerful state told our staff.

For David Johnson of Paynesville, said he is happy for the return of President George Manneh Weah back home from the United States after performing splendidly at the United Nations, but noted that he will take action against those found guilty into mysterious disappearance of  the Sixteen Billion Liberian Dollars sagas.

Tomorrow, Sunday, September 30, 2018, the entire city of Monrovia and its environ is expected to be knocked down due to the trooping of countless number of Liberians who have vowed to join others in welcoming President Weah and his delegation to Liberia from the UN.
