Barely six hours after granting an interview with a local radio station in Monrovia from the United States expressing frustration over how he has been harassed by individuals in the Liberia government to pay thousands of united States without tangible reasons, the Liberian Government has issue an arrest warrant for businessman and owner of a local radio station, Kool FM 91.9, Christopher Hayes Onanuga.

Addressing a news conference in Monrovia today at the Ministry of Justice, Liberia’s Solicitor General, Cllr Sayma Syrenius Cephus accused the businessman for his alleged involvement in what the government called ‘Money Laundering and criminal facilitation’, also duping the government of Liberia of 1.9 million United States Dollars.

Cllr. Cephus addressing reporters also disclosed that Mr. Onanuga is further being charged with theft of property, requesting on all security authorities in the country to enforce the arrest of Mr. Onanuga upon his arrival from the United States.

In a related development, the Solicitor General has also disclosed the indictment of several individuals on next week Monday for their failure to declare their asset
