At least 25 Liberian girls return home after suffering inhumane treatment in Omar and other Asian countries

About 25 Liberian Girls who were trafficked to Omar and other Asian Countries have finally returned to Liberia after allegedly enduring bad labor practices by their traffickers.

At a ceremony held Tuesday, to welcome the girls’ home, Labor Minister Charles Gibson said the girls are returning to the country through the intervention of the National Government.

According to Minister Gibson, the females, some of whom sustained injuries will be sent to the Ministry of Health for medical examinations.
