Liberia’s Independence Day Orator Mawine Diggs has called on Liberians to hold together despite challenges; says the Government of Liberia remains committed to lifting Liberians out of poverty

The National orator of Liberia’s 175th Independence day celebration Marwine Diggs has underscored the need for collective responsibility in fostering unity and peace in Liberia.

According to Madam Diggs, in fostering unity and peace citizens must be treated equally as one people.

She also noted that peace and unity cannot be guaranteed if the needs of the ordinary people are not addressed.

According to her, if everyone is treated equally in the sharing of the country’s resources, Liberia is certain to move forward in several areas of development.

Meanwhile, the Commerce Minister noted that Liberia is challenge like other African countries but called on her fellow cabinet ministers to play a crucial role in ensuring the agenda of the government is achieved.
