In a well organized news conference involving several local radio stations talked shows hosts inorder to publicly verify recent allegations by Speaker Bhofal Chambers that his deputy, Koffa was involved in what he called conflict of interest, was denied.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fonati Koffa denial was made during the live intervie with the talked shows hosts, and termed all Allegations as misleading.
Recently, Speaker Chambers accused Deputy Speaker Koffa of being involved with conflict of interest, by serving as a lawyer for the central bank of Liberia, LTA, Bea Mountain mining Company, as well as undermining the office of the speaker.
However, the Deputy speaker told a team of journalists on Tuesday that his Boss, Dr. Bhofal Chambers is misinformed.
Deputy speaker Koffa denied the allegations of him representing any legal interest of the Central Bank of Liberia, LTA, Bea Mountain and Sloway among other names mentioned by Speaker Bhofal Chambers.
