WUL Inducts Leadership Of The Deko Mining Cooperation In Cape Mount County

The workers union of Liberia (WUL) in Kinjoy, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County has inducted it’s second batch of leadership in office.

This union is the legal eyes of workers that are duly employed at the Be Mountain Mining Company (BMMC) in western Liberia, to ensuring that their safety and benefits are justly given.

Making remarks at the program the Chairman inducted Mr. Nelson P. Freeman Call on the workers to be law abiding in reaching out their concern.

Mr. Freeman in his statement assure the workers of standing by them in discharge of  his duties as chairman of the union and insure that their safety is well looked at in all levels making specific reference on those who are employed by the company.

He lamented that he would not want workers to work as slaves but as employee and tax payer with a good moral character and above.

The event which was attended by an array of local county officials from Grand Cape Mount County saw the presence of the Statutory Superintendent of Porkpa, Gola Konneh District Frank M. Sheriff, Sr.  and the County Superintendent, Aaron B. Vincent.

The occasion which was colorful witnessed officials of the county expressing their thanks and appreciation to the company’s leadership for its resilience over the years.
