US: 2 dead in shooting at house party with over 100 teens in Georgia

By India Today World Desk: At least two people were killed and six others injured in a fatal shooting at a house party with over 100 teenagers in Douglas county in Georgia, US on Saturday.
The gun shots were heard between 10:30-11:30 pm on Saturday from the Douglasville home, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office told Associated Press.
The police said a “confrontation” led to the shooting and have called on potential witnesses to describe the shooting and who is responsible.
It is unclear whether adults were present during the shooting and no arrests have been made so far.
“We know that there was a house party where well over a hundred teenagers were attending. A confrontation occurred that resulted in two deaths and six injured from gun shots. Information is very limited at this time,” the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Sunday.
The police are trying to find out whether more than one person was involved in the shooting. Further investigation is underway.
