‘UP Supporters Will Not Get Jobs When President Weah Is Re-Elected’ – Eugene Nagbe Declares

The Campaign Manager of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC Lenn Eugene Nagbe has publicly declared to the nation that the re-election of President George Weah will not be allowed to provide jobs opportunity to supporters, partisans and executives of the opposition Unity Party (UP) in the second term of its governance.

The CDC Campaign Manager made the disclosure on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the headquarters of the CDC in Congo town during a mayor press conference at the climaxed of the runoff of the presidential elections amid thunderous applauds from partisans of the CDC.

The CDC Campaign Manager who appeared very emotional during the press conference, also lashed at the opposition Unity Party of its alleged involvement in series of election violence in Nimba county and in other parts of the country, noting that it is not healthy for Liberia’s democracy.

Some Liberian political analysts who spoke to GNN-Liberia swiftly criticized the CDC Campaign Manager’s statement, noting that such is divisive, and has the propensity to bring about disunity amongst Liberia.
