According to report from Lofa County ahead of the pending senatorial by-election in that part of the country, dozens of Unity Party partisans headed by the partyβs political leader, Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai, and executives of the former ruling party, hundreds of traditional leaders during the week gave a rousing welcome to the Unity Party officials.
Since the arrival of the UP political leader and officials of the party in the county, dozens of traditional ceremonies have been taken place to welcome their βUncleβ, the Unity Party political leader, Joseph N. Boakai and his entourage in the county.
During the launch the start of a colorful campaign to elect Galakpai Kortimai in the Liberian Senate for the county, report amplified that Ambassador Boakai is said to be leading the force at all cost for the election of his candidate who is said to be pulling massive crowd for his successful election.
Several supporters including Montserrado County District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah are said to be massively campaigning for the election of Kortimai, as youth and women groups including traditional leaders have given out their support to the UP candidate in the June 28, 2022 senatorial by-election.
