In order to professionally and systematically serve the Liberian people at all levels, the United Bank for Africa Liberia headquarters Friday, March 16, 2018 launched its Co- Branded Visa Prepaid ID card at the Graduate School of the AMEU.
According to the arrangement, these cards will be rolled out to the AMEU undergraduate school but for now.
The occasion brought together students from the University who will be the major beneficiaries of the UBA Liberia Visa Card services, senior faculty staff including the President of the University, Dr. Joseph T. Isaac happily expressed thanks and appreciation to the bank’s family for this initiative.
Speaking during the launch, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBA Liberia, Mr. Olalekan Balogun spoke of the importance of the launch of the Visa Card service at the AMEU and further poured praises on the administration of the institution for allowing UBA Liberia to establish it Visa Card services on its campus.
For his part, the President of the University, Dr. Joseph T. Isaac thanked UBA for the state of the art payment and collection system.
Giving details of how the system will be helpful to the students of the University, the Head of Digital Banking at the UBA Liberia Mr. Prince Chesson bragged of the uniqueness of the UBA Liberia Visa Card services being introduced to students of the AMEU. Lecturing the students of the usage of the UBA Liberia Visa Card in the presence of the faculty staff of the University, Mr. Chesson said, “This system we are about to launch today will help you in all financial transactions including the payments of your school fees wherever you are; even if you graduated today from this University, this Visa Card you are about to get today will always help you in all your monetary transactions,” he told the students amidst applauds.
