L/R: UBA Liberia Managing Director; Lekan Balogun, Indian Consul General to Liberia, Upjit Singh Sachdeva and UBA Anglophone Executive Director & Chief Operation Officer (ED/COO), Mr. Oliver Alawuba also graced the occasion

Liberians witnessed what is strange and uncommon to its young Generation, a peaceful transition, which last took place in 1944 and the United Bank for Africa was ably represented at the occasion.

To witness the historic Ceremony, UBA dispatched a team of six persons headed by its Anglophone ED/COO Oliver Alawuba and UBA Liberia MD/CEO Lekan Balogun.

The both men led interactions with Business Executives, Dignitaries and Celebrities who also formed part of the occasion.

They, like many at the event, congratulated the People of Liberia for conducting a Peaceful election which subsequently led to a smooth turn over Power.

Former Soccer Legend George Manneh Weah and Jewel Howard-Taylor are now Liberia’s New President and Vice President respectively.

Majek Folorunsho UBA Liberia ED/COO, William Jlopleh Head of Public Sector & Government, Daniel Gayedu Head of Corporate Banking and Melody Mezay-Ketter Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications were also a part of the Bank’s delegation.
