Staten Island Lawyer Facing Charges for Criminal Impersonation

A Staten Island lawyer is facing charges for criminal impersonation and election law violations following a NY1 report.
Richard Luthmann is accused of allegedly creating fake Facebook pages of Staten Islanders and local elected officials.
They are said to have contained misleading information about politicians and people running for political office.
Luthmann has been in jail for about a year on federal charges related to a business he had selling scrap metals.
He will now face a judge on Staten Island this evening.
