It has come to my attention that various statements are circulating across social media and other platforms, making insinuations regarding my position as Speaker of the House of Representatives. I want to express my sincere gratitude for the widespread concern shown for my personal well-being and the integrity of the esteemed office I currently hold. Your dedication to the stability and proper functioning of our government is deeply appreciated.
Throughout my tenure, I have consistently held the firm belief that the laws of our nation must be the supreme guide in resolving all disputes, including the recent impasse that has unfolded within our legislature. In this regard, the Supreme Court has issued a definitive ruling, and I wish to state unequivocally that I fully respect and uphold this decision. The judiciary plays a vital role in our democracy, and its pronouncements must be honored by all branches of government.
In light of this conclusive ruling, I am now actively engaged in crucial consultations with a broad range of stakeholders from across our nation. This includes engaging directly with my esteemed colleagues from all sides of the political spectrum within the legislature.
