According to the report, one of the lawmakers who is on the forefront for the removal of Speaker Chamber is Nimba County District 5, Representative Samuel G. Korgar who has vowed to mobilize his colleagues for the removal of the Speaker.

His colleagues has over the time accused him of circumventing legislative procedural for the passage of a bill after he allegedly manipulated three propositions including the dual citizen bill, which has already been printed into handbill and will go to referendum

Representative Korgar speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill Thursday, June 1, 2023, disclosed that the current Speaker of the House of Representatives, Bhofal Chambers has placed members of that august body to public disrepute, noting that is about time that he exist the position of the Speakership, and allow others to do better.

Some legislative staffers who spoke to the GNN also added their voices to the removal of the Speaker during the October 10, 2023 general and presidential elections, stressing that he has no interest in their wellbeing.
