Sinoe County University Student Union Condemns Rep. Dixon Seboe On Allegation Against Rep. Boley
Recent utterance by Montserrado County District #16, Representative Dixon Seboe that Grand Gedeh County District #2 Representative George S. Boley murdered his family during the Liberian civil war has received a sharp reaction from citizens of Sinoe County including University students of that County, terming his statement as ‘Un-peaceful’ intended to bring about disunity amongst the people of the County.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, the President of the Sinoe County Universities’ students, Winston Tolbert Doe, said the statement made by Rep. Seboe against his colleagues, Rep. Boley was wronged, adding, “Rep. Dixon Seboe is beating a war drum to bring about disunity in our County, a situation which we believed is not healthy for our people,” Mr. Doe told the GNN.
The Sinoe County University Student Union leader also accused the Montserrado County lawmaker of lying on people in the County for his selfish gain, “He made similar lies when he accused the late Oscar Quiah of his involvement planning to overthrow the Liberian government few years ago, a situation that caused embarrassment for our citizens, just to know that he has lied,” the Sinoe County University Students Union President also asserted.
Recently in the House’s plenary, Rep. Seboe accused his colleague, Rep. George S. Boley of killing he (Seboe) family during the Liberian civil war when he (Boley) was head of the disbanded armed faction, the Liberia Peace Council (LPC), an allegation Rep. Boley rubbished.
Efforts to contact Rep. Seboe about the allegations made by the student leader against him, but unfortunately all his lines rang endlessly. Also our staff visited his Capitol Building office, but our reporter was told he is on his Easter break.
Investigation continues.
