It has reported that two huge shipments of money, believed to be United States Dollars, brought into the country on May 10, 2019 and May 27, 2019, respectively have been collected from the Roberts International Airport, and reportedly taken to an known locations.
According to Henry P. Costa, one of Liberia’s popular talk show hosts quoting his sources, said these boxes were reportedly transported directly to the private residence of the Liberian leader, President George Weah.
But in reaction to the allegation, the Presidential Press Secretary, Mr. Isaac Solo Kelgbeh speaking to the GNN today denied the report, noting that he will not dignify such report because it is untrue, and further promised to issue a press statement regarding on the matter.
