Senator Dillon Complains Ruling Party To Int’l Community On The Reported Hiring Of Ex-Generals

Mr. Abe Darius Dillon “I have complain this government to the international community on the reportedly hiring of ex-rebel generals”

Montserrado County Senator, Abraham Darius Dillon has reportedly complained the Liberian Government to the Senate plenary on the alleged hiring of  ex-rebel generals who actively took part in the nearly 15 years brutal civil war that killed over 250,000 innocent people and the destroyed the nation’s infrastructural development.

Recently, two lawmakers, of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Senator Saah Joseph of Montserrado County, and Representative Thomas Fallah of  Lofa County reportedly held meeting with some ex-rebel generals in Monrovia, a situation that drew the concern of Liberians.

In his complaint, the Montserrado County Senator prayed to his colleagues to investigate Senator Joseph as to what gave reason for holding a meeting with ex-rebel generals who caused havoc and destruction during the Liberian civil war, and further craved to hear the discussion that was held between them and the ex-rebels.

Senator Dillon further disclosed that he has written the international community about this situation, and further vowed  not to leave no stone unturned in bringing to light anything that will create fears in Liberians who have gone through years of bloody civil war.

In response, the Plenary of the Liberian Senate has ordered the Senate Committee on Defense to probe the issue, and forward its finding to the Plenary.
