Rep. Zoe Pennue’s Family Disparages Ex-First Lady Nancy B. Doe, Amid Wealth Acquisition

As the hullaballoo between the former First Lady of Liberia, Mrs. Nancy B. Doe and the family of Representative Zoe Emmanuel Pennue regarding the wealth of her slain  husband President, Samuel Kanyon Doe, and the alleged refusal of Representative Zoe Emmanuel Pennue to handover a suitcase containing important documents given him prior to the death of President Doe, the mother of Zoe Emmanuel Pennue, Lucy Doe Pennue has publicly rubbished the information, noting that Nancy B. Doe is no longer in the family, and she should not cry wolf in any way.

In recent times, Mrs. Doe has been releasing scaring revelations, alleging that the Grand Gedeh County Representative, Zoe Emmanuel Pennue has vowed to inform President George Manneh Weah not to give her any benefits as former First Lady of Liberia if she (Nancy Doe) refuses to support his senatorial bid in the pending December 8 midterm elections.

During an exclusive interview with the GNN  last weekend, the former Liberian First lady, Nancy B. Doe complained on how the Grand Gedeh County District # 2 Representative, Zoe Emmanuel Pennue has vowed to damage her cordial relationship with President George Weah if she (Mrs. Doe) refuses to express her support to his senatorial bid.

Narrating further via mobile phone, Mrs. Doe also alleged that Representative Pennue also told her that with the connection he has with the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah; he will make sure that Mrs. Doe will not receive a cent from the Liberian Government if she continues to reject his bid for the pending midterm senatorial election.

But in reaction to Mrs. Doe’s allegation, Madam Lucy Doe Pennue (Mother of Zoe Pennue, sister of the late Samuel K. Doe) speaking in her local dialect via an audio recording in the possession of the GNN, called on Mrs. Doe to desist from spoiling the name of her son, because of the way things are taken place, “Nancy is no more Mrs. Doe, she should take back her parents’ name as Bohn, and not Doe; she is no more in our family”, Madam Lucy Doe Pennue reacting to Mrs. Doe said.

She further disclosed that the suitcase in question was not intended for her, but rather was for the immediate family of the late Liberian President, Samuel K. Doe including his children, “Nancy must stop making unnecessary noise around here claiming that my son has all the wealth for her late husband, our brother,” she noted.
