“Rep, Yekeh Kolubah Did Not Endorse President Weah”, – Clarification Made
Following media report, that the tough talking lawmaker of Montserrado County Electoral District 10, Representative Yekeh Kolubah has endorsed the reelection of President George Weah ahead of the November 14, 2023 run-off election, post on his Face Book page has clarified, and demystified such information.
According to the social media post, “Representative Yekeh Kolubah visited the office of the Speaker of the 54th National Legislature, Bhofal Chambers to share fun with Speaker about his defeat. Jokingly he immediately took the CDC cap in the office indicating the Vote #2 and wore it. Note: He didn’t pledge support to the CDC”, the post by Nyantee Genero Samuel Togba emphasize.
Other Liberians who spoke to the GNN-Liberia via mobile phone, described the report being highlighted on social media that the controversial Montserrado County District Number 10 lawmaker, Yekeh Kolubah had endorsed President Weah as laughable, and condemned such fake news.
Efforts by the GNN-Liberia to contact Representative Kolubah via mobile phone proved unsuccessful amid series of calls made to him.
