President Weah’s Visit To Sasstown Yield Developmental Results, As The City Gets Brand New Streets Light
Residents of the City of Sasstown, Grand Kru County were the happiest over the weekend when the Liberian leaders, President George Manneh Weah who is currently in the county in continuation of his six counties tour switched of streets lights in the City.
Some of the residents of this historic City who have not seen such lights since their birth were amazed for this new development in their county, while who are costumed to such were overwhelmed, expressing thanks and appreciation to the Liberian leader who himself is a son of Grand Kru County.
Prior to the official switch on of these streets lights, according to our Correspondent, the Liberian leader held a town hall meeting with prominent elders and citizens of the County expressing his appreciation for electing him as their president, and urged them to be law abiding in everything they do.
For his part, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Fonati Koffa who is also Representative of the County’s District number 2, said was indeed humbled to the Liberian leader, President George Weah for the recognizing the friendship and brotherhood, expressing thanks for his visit, gifts, ground breakings, dedications, assessments, war dance and interaction with the people of Grand Kru County.
