The Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah who is amongst world leaders for the COP26 Climate Change Conference met with the United States President, Joe Biden as both leaders took a snap.

Glasgow is a port city on the River Clyde in Scotland’s western Lowlands. It’s famed for its Victorian and art nouveau architecture, a rich legacy of the city’s 18th–20th-century prosperity due to trade and shipbuilding.

Liberians who saw the photo posted on social media via Spoon TV are said to be overwhelmed, hoping that the meeting between both leaders will gain a fruitful results for the sustenance of Liberia/US relations.

In a related development, Queen Elizabeth II has urged world leaders attending the UN climate summit to “rise above the politics of the moment”, saying in a video message on Monday that she hoped they could work together for the sake of future generations.

The 95-year-old monarch had been expected to attend the Glasgow meeting, but she had to cancel the trip after doctors said she should rest and not travel. The queen recently underwent medical checks and spent the night at a London hospital — her first hospital stay in years.
