President Weah Dismisses Eugene Fahngon As Deputy Information Minister, Appoints Jarlawah Tonpo

Finally the axe has falling at the Ministry of Information, Culture Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) as President George Weah has with immediate effect dismissed the Deputy Minister for Public Affairs at that Ministry, Eugene Fahngon.

The reason behind the dismissal of Fahngon is yet to be disclosed, but according to press release posted the official website of the Executive Mansion, said Mr.  Fahngon was relieved early Thursday, June 24, 202.

Meanwhile, the Director of Press at the Liberian Senate, Jarlawah Tonpo has been nominated by the Liberian leader as the new Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs at that Ministry.

He holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication at the University of Liberia, he is a Masters candidate in International Relations at said University.
