Police Sent To Court Two Persons For Beating Man To Death

Police in Monrovia on Tuesday April 5, 2022 investigated charged and sent to court two person in connection to the death of Kolubah Marshall.

Defendant Boakai Passaway and Mohammed Koroma were arrested for allegedly beating to death victim Kolubah Marshall as well as assaulting victim Mohammed Sheriff in the Vai town area

According to the police charge sheet in the possession of GNN victim Kolubah Marshall and Defendant Mohammed Sheriff were engaged in the sale of broken tiles .

The Liberia National Police investigators further revealed that the two individuals left their business site and went to JJY where they had gone in search of tiles to purchase for marketing purpose.

The LNP charged sheet disclosed that while returning to Johnson street, victim Kolubah and Mohammed made a stop at Vai town for the same purpose at which time they were hit by defendant Thomas Blamoh who is a bike rider while crossing the street.

After defendant Blamoh hit the two name victims ,his bike keys were seized by the victims, something that resulted into serious argument between them when defendant Thomas Blamoh alarmed that the two gentlemen bike thieves.

During the argument defendant Boakai Passaway and Mohammed Koroma join along with others to be identified by police assaulted the victim and his friend leaving victim Kolubah Marshall to meet his untimely demise.

Meanwhile the LNP has charged defendant Boakai Passaway with the commission of the crime of murder aggravated assault and criminal attempt to commit murder which is in violation of Chapter 14 section 14,1 14.20 and 10.1 of the revised panel law of Liberia pending court trial.
