Police Charged And Sent To Court Cummings’ Bodyguard In Possession Of Illegal Firearm

The Liberia National Police says it has charged and to court the bodyguard to the head of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Mr. Alexander Cummings in possession of illegal firearm.

According to the police, Mr. Justine Zigbuo was arrested on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Paynesville before the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium where supporters and sympathizers of the Collaborating Political Party (CPP) had gathered to observe its rally duped “We Tiya Suffering”.

Suspect Zigbuo is currently detained at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police undergoing investigation. Effort to get a word from the authority of the CPP proved unsuccessful, as GNN reporter was told that modalities are being worked out to secure his release.
