Pleebo Sodoken Citizens Reject Chambers Re-election, Call President Weah To Advise Him To Cease Denigrating Their Tradition

All efforts by the Speaker of the 54th session of the House of Representatives, and lawmaker of Pleebo Sodoken District 2 # in Maryland County, Bhofal Chambersb has been dashed by the citizens of the district, calling on the Liberian leader, President George Weah to abandon imposing him on them
The citizens in their number, mainly traditional elders including women and youth groups urged the President to acknowledge Speaker Chambers to stop falsely accusing their tradition and bringing it to public ridicule.
According to a release, the citizens said, failure on the part of the President to quickly intervene to prevail on Chambers to abandon his quest, may force them to abandon his reelection quest the electoral district #2 during the November 14, 2023 Run-off elections.
“We stand by our words and commitment to tell President George Weah that if he fails to call on his official to order, we will campaign against him throughout the length and breadth of Maryland County to reject him at the ballots box.
