The People’s Action Party (PAP) has officially announced its highly anticipated First National Convention, scheduled to take place from March 27–29, 2026, in Bentol City. Under the inspiring theme “Action for the People,” this landmark gathering represents a defining moment in the party’s evolution, signaling its growing influence and commitment to shaping a new political narrative in Liberia.

With delegates expected from across the country and the diaspora, the convention promises to be a dynamic platform for dialogue, policy direction, and national engagement. Since its founding, the People’s Action Party has emerged as a vibrant, grassroots-driven movement dedicated to redefining governance through the principles of integrity, unity, and progress. Built by citizens determined to move beyond traditional political norms, PAP continues to champion transparency, equal opportunity, and sustainable development as the cornerstones of its national agenda.

The upcoming convention will bring together a diverse cross-section of Liberians, including community leaders, professionals, youth, and advocates, all united by a shared vision of a stronger and more inclusive nation. Participants will engage in meaningful deliberations on key national issues, adopt strategic party policies, and strengthen the party’s institutional framework as it prepares for an expanding role in Liberia’s democratic landscape.

Beyond policy discussions, the event will serve as a moment of reflection and renewal. It allows members and stakeholders to assess the party’s progress while reaffirming their commitment to advancing people-centered leadership and national transformation. The gathering is designed to foster a sense of collective purpose among members who believe that Liberia’s future depends on a shift toward more accountable and action-oriented governance.

In a show of openness and collaboration, the People’s Action Party has extended invitations to a wide range of national stakeholders. This includes civil society organizations, members of the National Legislature, and leaders of various political parties. Additionally, invitations have been shared with the Liberian Bar Association, the Press Union of Liberia, and numerous media institutions, encouraging the general public to follow and engage with this significant national event.

As anticipation builds for the March gathering, the People’s Action Party remains steadfast in its mission to foster a united, transparent, and prosperous Liberia. By centering its efforts on action, accountability, and the collective will of the people, the party aims to establish itself as a primary force for positive change in the years to come.
