The commercial capitol of Nimba County, Ganta is heavily overcrowded with hundreds of government officials including security men and women in preparation of the start of Liberian Government Cabinet Retreat headed by President George Manneh Weah.
The city of Ganta, a city widely considered as sleepless city indeed proved it’s that title, when businesses houses mainly entertainment kept their staff on their heels through out the night till morning.
Monday cabinet retreat will witness the the Chief Executive, President Weah presiding over the four days discussions featuring important issues in the interest of the Liberian people.
According to sources closed to the retreat, the Liberian leader will use the four days to interact with citizens of the county, and will also pay a visit on the mining area of Solway Mining in the county.
GNN staff in the county, gathered that citizens of the county will use the visit of the President to express their gratitude to the President for allowing the company to operate, and to politely call on the Liberian President to speedily sign the Mineral Development Agreement (MDA) between Solway Mining and the Liberian Government.
