‘People Abroad Asks Me To Overthrow President Weah’ – Major Gen. Prince C. Johnson Reveals

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) has disclosed that multiple individuals abroad have asked him to overthrow the President of Liberia, George Manneh Weah who is currently out of the country.

Major General Prince C. Johnson, III made the revelations Tuesday, December 6, 2022 to a local radio station, the OK FM during one of its daily talk shows in Monrovia, he said he has refused to listen to those who are calling on him to overthrow the government, noting Liberia is a country of law, anyone who has problem with the government must use the courts.

The long stay out of the country by the Liberian leader has received huge criticisms from the public including the opposition political parties in the country, noting that his continues stay out of the country is worrisome.
