Passionate Hands Give Back Inc Urges Unity in the Fight Against Hunger

The CEO and Founder of nonprofit organization, Passionate Hands Give Back Inc, has issued a passionate call to action, urging Liberians to unite in the battle against hunger in Liberia.

Madam Eyvonne Watts, the driving force behind Passionate Hands Give Back Inc., has highlighted the dire situation facing children, women, and people living with disabilities who are succumbing to hunger on a daily basis in West Africa, particularly Liberia, and in various regions across the globe.

“In order to forge a brighter future for the children of our nation and build a strong Liberia, we must join hands and confront the grave issue of hunger,” stated Madam Eyvonne Watts.

Liberia’s hunger crisis has been brought to the forefront with the release of the 2023 Global Hunger Index report, which ranks Liberia at 117th out of 125 countries with sufficient data to calculate the 2023 GHI scores. With a score of 32.2, Liberia’s level of hunger is classified as serious and requires immediate attention.

Madam Watts emphasized the essential role of international organizations and development countries in supporting Liberia’s fight against hunger.

Passionate Hands Give Back Inc. is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and charity organization dedicated to giving back to society by improving the well-being of underprivileged individuals and communities. Their services encompass the provision of food, medical supplies, shelter, and clothing.

The organization’s impact has been substantial, making a positive difference in the lives of countless individuals and communities in need. Their unwavering dedication to helping others serves as an inspiration to all, as they tirelessly work toward creating a more compassionate world.

Current initiatives and projects include:  Supplying schools and communities with necessary resources; providing meals to orphans, widows, and the less privileged. developing housing solutions for homeless families; offering scholarships to deserving individuals; distributing essential medical supplies.

Since its launch on April 15, 2023, the organization has provided hot-cooked meals to over 1,000 people through community outreach programs. They have also constructed homes, distributed sanitary pads to school-going girls, raised funds to cover medical expenses, and engaged in various other humanitarian efforts.

Notably, their first visit to the New Kru Town community saw them feeding over 400 individuals, including women, children, and physically challenged individuals. In West Point, they provided meals to over 200 people, while three community schools benefited from their generosity, feeding over 300 students.

In central Monrovia, the organization served hot meals to a group of 77 physically challenged people and their children. The call to action by Passionate Hands Give Back Inc. underscores the urgency of addressing Liberia’s hunger crisis and the pivotal role that unity and international support can play in achieving this crucial goal.
