One Nigeria’s Finest Movie Stars, Emeka Ike Hails President George Weah
One of Nigeria’s Popular Nollywood actors, Emeka Ike who was in Monrovia, Liberia last week as a special guest on the occasion of the of commissioning of the new pavilion of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has praised President Weah for his ascendancy as President of Liberia.
The event which was chaired by the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill commissioned the new pavilion on behalf of the Liberian President George Weah while others including the Minister of Finance, Development & Planning, Mr. Samuel Tweah graced the occasion.
Speaking to newsmen after the event, Emeka Ike described President Weah as a role model, and an inspiration to young politicians in Africa. He commended the president on his laudable achievements within one year in office, and said with these developmental strides, Liberia will surely develop like South Africa and Kenya under his administration.
Quoting the President, Emeka said “when you select from the street, you get results, but when you select from the Glass House, you get pain and pride”, noting that president Weah is a practical man who rose from the streets, and understands the real challenges that ordinary Liberian faces.
