The Management of the National Port Authority (NPA) as part of its Social Corporate Responsibility through the Managing Director, Hon. Bill Twehway, has  donated assorted books to at least five  primary  schools within the Port’s proximity  of Bushrod Island near Monrovia.

Aged old  Boswen Junior High School including Greater Vision, New ERA , ‘Meal a Day Academy’ as well as Trinity United Methodist among others are  benefiting  institutions from the NPA  books donation gesture.

The books are meant for instructional  and research purposes as the Management of the Port endeavors to strut and support the CDC government’s vision to transform Liberia ‘s “messy” education system  to ‘best’.

Also, realizing the vital role  public sector plays in creating a level playing field in driving innovations and building an environment to enhance quality  education and entrepreneurship to foster economic growth, NPA’s long standing Corporate Social investment strategy is based on its vision to help the world run better and improving people’s lives. To this end, Managing Director Bill Twehway who is also an educator believes  the donation of the books when utilized by pupils of the benefiting schools will  be a great deal of help to their education sojourn and prepare them for better opportunities in the future.
