NASAPAL Inc. Commends the Liberia National Police for Publishing the Quarterly Accident Statistics Report (Jan–March 2026)

Monrovia, Liberia — The National Safety Partnership of Liberia (NASAPAL Inc.) extends its sincere appreciation to the Liberia National Police (LNP) for the timely release of the Quarterly Report: Liberia Accident Statistics, January–March 2026.

The publication of this report represents a vital step toward strengthening institutional transparency, improving data‑driven decision‑making, and enhancing national coordination in the fight against Liberia’s escalating road‑safety crisis. With road accidents now among the leading causes of death and injury across the country, access to accurate and timely statistics is essential for saving lives and guiding effective interventions.

NASAPAL Inc. commends the leadership of the LNP, the Ministry of Health, and all institutions involved in compiling and publishing this critical national data. This report provides a strong foundation for collaboration among government agencies, civil‑society organizations, transport unions, development partners, and community leaders.

“Reliable accident data is the cornerstone of any serious public‑safety strategy. The Liberia National Police has demonstrated its commitment to accountability and national protection by releasing this report.”
NASAPAL Inc., founded in 2008 and fully self‑funded, NASAPAL Inc. works across Liberia’s 15 counties and is striving to expand into all 73 districts. The organization reaffirms its commitment to partnering with motorcyclists, community media, retired police veterans, the Liberia National Police, and other stakeholders to:

  • Promote safer road‑use behaviors
  • Strengthen public‑safety awareness and education campaigns
  • Support training for pedestrians, riders, drivers, and transport operators
  • Advocate for improved enforcement systems and justified officer compensation
  • Expand community‑based safety programs nationwide

This report is not merely a document; it is a national call to action. NASAPAL encourages continued quarterly reporting and deeper collaboration to reduce preventable deaths and build a culture of safety across Liberia.

NASAPAL also reminds communities that public safety is a shared responsibility. We cannot wait for government alone to reach every corner of Liberia. Families, neighbors, and local leaders must work together to educate loved ones, friends, and community members. Road violence affects us all, and none of us knows who the next victim could be.

Together, we can protect lives and transform Liberia’s public‑safety landscape.
