Dozens of students from various high schools in the township of Gardnersville and its environs yesterday, Wednesday, June 7, 2018 endorsed the candidature of Mr. Mark ‘Fox’ Keshen who is vying for the senatorial seat of the pending Montserrado County by-elections.

The students under the banner ‘Montserrado United Students Association of Liberia (MUSPAL) in their petition which was read and presented to Mr. Keshen by Samuel Coleman, said the student community of Gardnersville were overwhelmed of the level on contributions made by Mr. Keshen over the years which they noted gave rise to his endorsement.

“We are overwhelmed of the level of support you have been given the student community; we the students of Gardnersville and the surrounding communities are pleased to endorse your candidature for the Senate for the upcoming Montserrado County by-election; words are inadequate to express for your support to us,” the MUSPAL petition noted.

For his part, Mr. Mark Keshen expressed thanks and appreciation to the students for their thoughtfulness, and assured them of his support at all time in their educational pursuit, and awarded twenty (20) scholarships to the students.

He said the scholarships; ten (10) for elementary and junior high school students and ten (10) for senior high and university are indeed intended for students who are pursuing technical education in their academic drive.
