Call on the GOL for more investment in the Electricity Sector

.The Movement with Integrity for National Development (MIND) has lauded the acting Managing Director of the Liberia Electricity Corporation, Mr.  Thomas Zailee Gonkerwon, for his hard work and expertise contributed to the electricity sector for the more than 30 Years of work in the country as an Electrical Engineer serving in different capacities.

Speaking to newsmen after an honoring ceremony at the head office of the Liberia Electricity Cooperation (LEC), the Executive Director of MIND, Mr. Sekou D. Sonii, said the acting MD won the award over of fellow colleagues in the public sector as a result of a comparative analysis and researched done on individuals listed and vetted for the award and voted for by executives and members of the Board of Directors to show transparency in the process.

Accordingly, the MIND official congratulated the management and staff of the Liberia Electricity Cooperation for strengthening and developing the Electricity Sector as manifested by the effective and efficient rehabilitation and expansion of Electricity Infrastructure to the public.

MIND asserted very strongly that it’s importance for the public to recognized the efforts of the management team and staff at the Liberia Electricity Cooperation for the trust and  dutifulness to  service noting that the management is currently face with many challenges which require budgetary support from partners and the government of Liberia

Mr. Sonii, used this occasion to calls on the President His Excellency Joseph Nyumah Boakai  to note seriously the importance of Electricity supplies to the public which require an increase in the budget of the Liberia Electricity Cooperation

As MIND is devoted to National Development with integrity, it’s our strongest position that the economic growth our country seeks can also come from the collections of taxes through Electricity supplies to the public

“Conclusively, we reiterate our appreciation to the acting MD, management, and  staff of the Liberia Electricity Cooperation to continue the good work that  brings pride to the Liberia Electricity Cooperation and the public,” he said.

    Its like you read my mind You appear to know a lot about this like you wrote the book in it or something I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit but instead of that this is fantastic blog An excellent read I will certainly be back
