A seasoned Liberian media personality and advocate for women’s rights, Ms. Ernestine N. Clark, recently achieved academic distinction by receiving a graduate degree from the esteemed Grand Canyon University (GCU) in Phoenix, Arizona. Ms. Clark was honored with a Master’s of Arts degree in communication with a focus on education from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at GCU, alongside numerous other graduates from diverse backgrounds worldwide. Prior to this, she had already obtained a specialized certificate in trauma healing and counseling from Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) in Virginia.
Having previously served as a senior producer in radio and television broadcasting at Renaissance Communications Incorporated (RCI), Ms. Clark gained recognition for her exceptional contributions to the field of mass communication. Her innovative approach helped redefine and broaden the scope of traditional broadcasting and production methods, infusing them with new strategic dynamism. Following her tenure at RCI, she was competitively selected to lead the communications unit at Liberia’s Law Reform Commission (LRC), where she played a pivotal role in directing public relations initiatives that effectively conveyed the Commission’s mission and stance on crucial national reform issues to audiences nationwide.
Driven by a commitment to furthering her professional development, Ms. Clark pursued opportunities abroad, temporarily leaving her studies in international relations at the University of Liberia’s IBB Graduate School in Monrovia. Throughout her career, she has been a staunch advocate for human rights, the rule of law, and the inclusion of women in national decision-making processes.
Speaking from Phoenix, Ms. Clark expressed her readiness to return to Liberia and contribute to the country’s rebuilding endeavors, recognizing the urgent need for skilled professionals in her homeland. She is set to embark on a doctoral program in the near future, aiming to deepen her expertise and continue her impactful work upon her return
