Maryland County Records 13 New Confirmed Coronavirus Cases With One Death

The Maryland County Health Team says it has recorded 13 new confirmed Coronavirus cases with one death, according to the head of the County Health Team, Dr. Methodius George.
Dr. George made the disclosure on June 30, 2021 during an exclusive interview with GNN in the in the County, and further noted three persons have been discharge, while three others have been placed on oxygen, and the rest according to him are responding to treatment. .
Dr. George mentioned that the County has recorded its 13 confirmed cases with several contacts, but assured the citizens of being equipped and prepared, says” With The Experiences We Had From Ebola And The Previous Outbreak, We Are Ready to Combat the virus,” he added.
“Our County has recorded her 13 confirmed cases, therefore, I am encouraging every citizens and residents of Maryland County to remain calm, but we all must keep observing the preventive measures of Corona Virus. Wash your hands regularly, observe the social distancing, put on the nose mask, avoid over crowdedness and the list goes on”. CHO Dr. Methodius George stressed.
The CHO of Maryland County used the occasion to called on humanitarian individuals and organizations to send their full support in the County to help combat the deadly Corona Virus, at the same time he’s extended gratitude to Partners Health for their kind support to the Maryland County Health Team.
He further narrated that the County Health Team has received a new Ambulance from the UNHCR to help transport patients in the County.
