“Make The Gov’t, Nation Proud” -Amb. Finda N. Bundoo Tells Protocol Officers
A two-day protocol course training for over 125 protocol officers has ended with the Executive Mansion Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Finda Nora Bundoo encouraging protocol officers to use the lesson learned to make the government and the Liberian nation proud in the discharge of their respective duties in the country.
Amb. Finda Nora Bundoo, Chief of Protocol to the office of the Liberian President made the statement over the weekend in Paynesville City near the Liberian Capital, Monrovia when she addressed the closing ceremony of a two-day protocol training course that brought over 125 participants together from the three branches of the Liberian government.
Amb. Bundoo said the government, through the office of President George Manneh Weah is interested in building the capacity of protocol officers in the three branches of government, the Legislature, Executive and the Judiciary as such, the just ended protocol training course was the beginning of several training opportunities that would be organize by President Weah and the government.
Amb. Bundoo admonished protocol officers from the Executive, Legislature and the judiciary branches of government was intended to build the capacity of protocol officers to be more efficient, effective and professional in their functions as protocol officers who have benefited from an empowerment training course in the country.
She noted the office of President Weah is fully prepared in working with other agencies of government in a bid of enhancing the professional capacity of protocol officers in the three branches of government.
Amb. Finda Nora Bundoo, wearing smiles on her face said the protocol training course of over 125 protocol officers were trained could not have come than now as it has stimulated the capacity of protocol officers to be more professional, efficient, productive and responsible in the line of their duties to service doing government functions.
Ambassador Finda Nora Bundoo, who is popularly known as “Rescue mother” because of her generosity to people, praised participants for mustering courage to participate in a learning process that would advance their duties and professionalism, stating that training was important to improving the ability of people in the society.
Amb. Finda Nora Bundoo, Chief of Protocol at the Executive Mansion, concluded by assuring participants of President George Manneh Weah’s committed to support future training initiative for protocol officers disclosing that the next training will be held outside the Liberian capital, Monrovia. The two-day protocol officer training course was organized and sponsored by the office of President George Manneh Weah.
