Liberia’s Newly Confirmed Defense Minister Resigns

Amid nationwide protest by wives of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) on the replacement of the Senate newly confirmed Minister of National Defense, Retired General Prince C. Johnson, lll, and former Chief of Staff of the AFL has submitted his letter to the Liberian leader, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai today.

Below is the letter accepting the resignation of the Retired General of the AFL from the office of the presidential press secretary.
